Ferguson names Hunter Shepard general manager of Gulf Refrigeration
Ferguson recently appointed Hunter Shepard to general manager of Gulf Refrigeration in Tampa, Fla.
Shepard joined Ferguson in Beltsville, Md., in 1989 as a management trainee. After a year and a half, Shepard moved to Louisville, Ky., to become one of the company's first HVAC trainees. He has held several key positions since then including operations manager, branch manager and general manager. His most recent position was general manager of Northwest Air Cold branches in Oregon and Washington.
Shepard has attended executive level training at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and participated in the IMD leadership development program in Switzerland. Additionally, Shepard attended small business development classes at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
A native of Charlottesville, Va., Shepard graduated from James Madison University in 1989.
Ferguson names Jon Wallace general manager of Louisiana HVAC
Ferguson recently appointed Jon Wallace to general manager of Louisiana HVAC.
Wallace joined Ferguson as an executive trainee after 20 years in HVAC distribution. As a trainee, Wallace was exposed to the Ferguson culture of aggressive sales growth at Lyon Conklin, a $200 million HVAC distribution business. Wallace assisted in the start-up of the new Alabama HVAC operation after training at Lyon Conklin. As Alabama opened their doors, Wallace relocated to South Carolina to start South Carolina HVAC, distributing Rheem and HVAC supplies.
Wallace states he is eager to join the Louisiana HVAC team and looks forward to the challenges unique to New Orleans and South Louisiana markets.
A native of Shreveport, La., Wallace is a graduate Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Ferguson names Gregg Turner general manager of Lubbock, Texas
Ferguson recently appointed Gregg Turner to general manager of the Lubbock, Texas location.
Turner joined Ferguson in 2000 as a management trainee in Lubbock. He has held several key positions since then: outside sales, branch manager and operations manager. Turner received the Operations Leadership Award for 2006-07.
“I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to lead such an incredibly talented group of associates here in West Texas,” said Turner. “I am confident that the success this team has enjoyed in previous years will continue as we take on new market challenges and opportunities.”
A native of Lubbock, Texas, Turner is a 2000 graduate of Texas Tech University.
Ferguson names Mike Wolfe general manager of Dallas, Texas
Ferguson recently appointed Mike Wolfe to general manager of the Dallas, Texas location.
Wolfe joined Ferguson in 2005 as an executive trainee. He became general manager of Lubbock, Texas in 2006. Under his leadership, the location won Most Improved Supply House 2006-07.
"I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead the talented team we have here in the Dallas-Fort Worth market," said Wolfe. "There is no doubt that despite the so-called market conditions we will achieve best in class in Dallas - Fort Worth with the assets that Ferguson provides its associates."
A native of Benton, Ky., Wolfe is a 1992 graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Michael Lombardo recently named WW General Manager
Michael Lombardo was recently named General Manager of Columbus, Ohio Waterworks (2396).
Michael, a native of Columbus, joined Ferguson in 1981 as an Outside Sales associate in his hometown. He was promoted to Sales Manager of Columbus in 1994.
My goals are to lead and train our associates through economic tough times so when the economy kicks back in, it will be easier for all to do their jobs,” Michael said.
