Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. offers a variety of benefit options, allowing associates to select the plan(s) that best suit their individual needs.

Medical
There are four different medical plans available at Ferguson Enterprises:

  • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO): Associates on the HMO plan choose their primary care physician (PCP) from an approved list of providers. There is a $20 co-pay for office visits with a primary care physician and a $45 co-pay for office visits with a specialist. For prescriptions, you pay a percentage of the cost with a minimum and maximum amount.
  • Open Access Plan: This plan allows associates to use providers nationwide who are in-network or out-of-network. There is a $20 co-pay for office visits with an in-network general practitioner and a $40 co-pay for an office visit with an in-network specialist. The in-network deductible is $300 individual/$900 family. The out-of-network deductible is $500 individual/$1,000 family. Out-of-pocket costs are reduced when in-network providers are used. For prescriptions, you pay a percentage of the cost with a minimum and maximum amount.
  • 80/20 Plan: Associates who choose this plan receive 80% coverage after a $300 deductible ($900 family maximum) and may use any facility or physician. For prescriptions, you pay a percentage of the cost with a minimum and maximum amount.
  • 50/50 Plan: There is no deductible for this plan and associates may seek treatment from any physician or facility. Services are covered at 50%. For prescriptions, you pay a percentage of the cost with a minimum and maximum amount.

Dental
Ferguson offers a dental plan through CIGNA Dental. You may choose between a dental HMO and a dental PPO plan. You may switch between the dental plans on a monthly basis with no penalties.
Dental HMO (DHMO) Plan Highlights:

  • No Claim Forms

  • No annual maximums
  • 100% for routine cleaning and x-rays twice a year
  • Orthodontic services are covered

Associates on the DHMO plan choose their primary care dentist from an approved list of providers.
Dental PPO Plan Highlights:

  • Use any dentist you choose
  • Change dentists at any time without pre-approval

Vision
Ferguson's vision coverage is administered by Vision Service Plan (VSP). The vision plan covers one eye exam every 12 months and contacts or frames and lenses every 24 months. There is a $10 co-payment for an eye exam and a $20 material co-payment.

401(k) Savings Plan
Associates are eligible to enroll in Ferguson 's Retirement Savings Plan after 90 days of employment. An associate may contribute up to 50% of their salary on a pre-tax basis and Ferguson will match the contributions dollar for dollar for the first 2% and fifty cents on the dollar for the next 3%. There are a variety of funds available to provide ample opportunity for diversification of investments.

Short Term Disability
Short term disability insurance provides 60% of your weekly salary, up to a maximum of $1500 per week, after 14 consecutive days of disability. Benefits are available for up to eleven weeks.

Long Term Disability
After a disability period of 90 days, long term disability insurance provides 60% of an associate's monthly pay, up to $10,000 per month.

Life Insurance
Ferguson Enterprises provides associates with basic life insurance equal to one times their annual pay to a maximum of $250,000. This coverage also includes accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D). Supplemental life insurance up to five times the basic amount ($1,000,000 maximum) may be purchased. In addition, an associate may elect an equal amount of supplemental AD&D coverage. Dependent Life Insurance may be purchased for a spouse ($10,000) and/or children ($5,000 per child).

Flexible Spending Accounts
This benefit allows associates to pay for dependent/child care, and out-of-pocket medical costs, such as co-pays and health plan deductibles, on a pre-tax basis. The maximum yearly contribution allowed for the dependent care account is $5,000, and the maximum yearly contribution for the health care account is $5,000.

Long Term Care
Long term care is the care you need when you require assistance with day-to-day functions like walking, eating, or dressing. The associate, associate’s spouse, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, and grandparents-in-law are eligible for this benefit. The daily benefit amount can range from $50-$350 with a lifetime maximum of 3 or 5 years.

Paid Leave
All full-time associates receive the following holidays off with pay:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • 2 Floating Holidays (Floating holidays may be taken any day throughout the year at Manager's discretion)

Associates who have been employed with Ferguson for 90 days will start to accrue vacation each month based on length of service with Ferguson.
Plan Highlights

  • You may take your vacation as soon as you earn it
  • Sick leave and personal days are granted to full-time associates following 6 months of employment.

Educational Assistance
Ferguson provides formal educational opportunities to full-time associates who have demonstrated their commitment to the organization. Courses designed to encourage skill development directly related to associates career development may be taken upon approval by their Branch Manager, Regional Manager, and Human Resources. Associates will be reimbursed 100% of applicable expenses (tuition, registration, laboratory fees, and books), provided that the courses are completed with a "B" or better.
